[Remote] Art Director, Immersive & Experiential Media (CONTRACT)

August Jackson is looking for a freelance multi-disciplinary creative leader to shape immersive visual experiences for large-scale events. The role involves creative concepting and visualization for immersive environments, crafting dynamic visual moments, and designing for various media formats. Responsibilities • Creative concepting and visualization for immersive environments and media planes • Developing connected visual narratives across multiple segments of a program • Crafting dynamic visual moments that enhance key storytelling beats • Designing for large canvases, non-standard displays, screen arrays, and LED content environments • Working across VFX, motion design, animation, and both pre-rendered and real-time media Skills • A Creative/Art/Experience Director (or Visual/Spatial Storyteller, 3D Artist) with a strong track record in creative concepting and visualization for immersive environments and media planes • Developing connected visual narratives across multiple segments of a program • Crafting dynamic visual moments that enhance key storytelling beats • Designing for large canvases, non-standard displays, screen arrays, and LED content environments • Working across VFX, motion design, animation, and both pre-rendered and real-time media • Your portfolio includes conference keynotes or general sessions for major brands • Work for performing artists, concerts, experiential installations, award shows, or live event broadcasts • Visual worlds that bring story, technology, and space together in compelling and unexpected ways Company Overview • August Jackson operates as a brand communications agency.
