[Remote] Area Director Clinical Operations (West Palm Beach area)

They are seeking an Area Director of Clinical Operations to oversee clinical staff performance, manage budgets, and collaborate with various teams to ensure quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with area nurse managers to address clinical staff performance concerns and ensure clinical supportCollaborates with area leadership on clinical candidate screening and selectionDirect oversight of assigned staff in the areaPartner with nurse managers and pharmacy leadership to review and adjust clinical staffing across assigned sites as necessaryReview assigned events in origami and regional event dashboards to identify trends in patient safety/quality needsProvide quarterly event trend reportPartner with Risk Management, nurse managers and clinical staff to ensure timely Origami event review and appropriate follow-upAssists in the preparation of the annual area budget related to clinical servicesPerform other duties and projects as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in nursing requiredRegistered Nurse in FloridaOCN certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hireValid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetingsCompliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is requiredSeven (7) years of experience or more in the healthcare field or clinic/outpatient setting with knowledge of Oncology requiredMinimum (5) years of management experienceAnalysis & Critical ThinkingStrong interpersonal skills to include effective verbal and written communicationSolid time management with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to collaborate across various levels of management, departments and teamsComfortable negotiating problems and exploring solutions with physician populationStrong customer service skills and organizational awarenessStrong leadership and mentoring skillsStrong technological capabilitiesCandidate needs to be in the West Palm, Vero Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton areaMaster's degree preferredBenefitsOffering competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits packages to include tuition reimbursement, 401-K match, pet and legal insurance.Company OverviewFounded in 1984, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is the largest independent medical oncology/hematology practice in the United States.
