[Remote] Apps Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking an experienced Apps Architect with over 13 years of development and app modernization experience. The role involves leading a team in the modernization and migration of applications to the Azure PaaS platform, ensuring best practices in cloud adoption, and collaborating with various teams to design effective solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Experience in hosting and configuring the applications on IIS
ā¢ Experience in modernization of Applications to Azure PaaS platform along with migration experience
ā¢ Expertise in application hosting, configuration, optimization in various Azure PaaS services: Azure App service, Azure Functions, Aure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instance
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find alternate ways to reach the goals
ā¢ Ability to understand application architecture, dependencies, and integrations
ā¢ Should have led and managed the team with the size more than 5 members
ā¢ Should be able to guide the team technically
ā¢ Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways
ā¢ Hands on web application development skills
ā¢ Hands on experience in developing and hosting web applications on Azure PaaS platform
ā¢ Primary database skills like database connectivity, configurations etc
ā¢ Ability to analyze application dependencies
ā¢ Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices
ā¢ Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services
ā¢ Should know the nitty-gritties of hosting containerized application on Kubernetes
ā¢ Application performance assessment pre and post migration
ā¢ Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy, stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering business, application and Infrastructure as well as commercial aspects (in terms of value for money and not commercial costing etc.)
ā¢ Understanding customer Infra landscape
ā¢ Design Azure Landing Zone and provide the Azure target state solution architecture
ā¢ Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
ā¢ Troubleshooting experience with Azure PaaS platform
ā¢ Basic understanding of containerization and AKS service
ā¢ Prepare solution presentations
ā¢ Ability to work well in a team
