[Remote] Applications Analyst-Clinical
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eisenhower Health is a healthcare organization seeking an Applications Analyst-Clinical to support their Epic clinical applications. The role involves implementing, administering, and supporting clinical systems, coordinating with IT teams, and ensuring high-quality patient care through effective application management.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations
ā¢ Acts as a liaison between assigned departments, clinical end users and I.S. technical personnel
ā¢ Assists in the coordination and maintenance of all current systems for assigned departments
ā¢ Support the departments and staff during, and post implementation, of assigned applications/systems
ā¢ Provides at the elbow support for providers and end users as needed during and after clinical system upgrades
ā¢ Analyzes current systems and processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, provider productivity, financial outcomes and ancillary relations or cost savings
ā¢ Identify and assist with planning for, and developing, department-specific requirements for future product acquisitions
ā¢ Performs written and oral project status reporting on a regular basis as requested
ā¢ Communicates with IS staff members, vendors and users, and facilitates communication between these groups to identify system needs, modifications, and/or issues. Works with these groups to reach resolution of issues, define necessary modifications and develop solutions
ā¢ Analyzes user-requested programming changes, documents requests, facilitates communication between users and IS staff
ā¢ Works with vendors to determine, review and document acceptance of system changes. Facilitates communications between IS personnel and vendor representatives
ā¢ Provides technical assistance and support to expert users
ā¢ Follows Project Management Office (PMO) guidelines on all projects
ā¢ Assures that all necessary documentation (i.e. procedures, processes) is properly completed
ā¢ Troubleshoots issues and document for vendor resolution
ā¢ Update all service requests on a monthly basis and communicate updates to the requestor on a monthly basis
ā¢ Ensures that email and voice mail indicate unavailability with alternative contact when out of office
ā¢ Assume administrative tasks to support management as requested and perform other duties as assigned
ā¢ Performs other duties assigned
Skills
ā¢ Relevant degree or experience in lieu of degree
ā¢ Relevant Epic certification(s) required for those positions supporting an Epic application; must complete relevant Epic certification(s) within 12 months of hire or 12 months from transferring into position
ā¢ Two to four years in healthcare or information systems related positions
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree
ā¢ Experience with the assigned applications desirable (Epic Certification if applicable)
ā¢ Experience working in an acute healthcare setting or vendor setting
ā¢ Previous systems analyst or vendors experience a plus
ā¢ Working knowledge of and experience using healthcare applications
