[Remote] Applications Analyst-Clinical

The role involves implementing, administering, and supporting clinical systems, coordinating with IT teams, and ensuring high-quality patient care through effective application management.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violationsActs as a liaison between assigned departments, clinical end users and I.S. technical personnelAssists in the coordination and maintenance of all current systems for assigned departmentsSupport the departments and staff during, and post implementation, of assigned applications/systemsProvides at the elbow support for providers and end users as needed during and after clinical system upgradesAnalyzes current systems and processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, provider productivity, financial outcomes and ancillary relations or cost savingsIdentify and assist with planning for, and developing, department-specific requirements for future product acquisitionsPerforms written and oral project status reporting on a regular basis as requestedCommunicates with IS staff members, vendors and users, and facilitates communication between these groups to identify system needs, modifications, and/or issues. Works with these groups to reach resolution of issues, define necessary modifications and develop solutionsAnalyzes user-requested programming changes, documents requests, facilitates communication between users and IS staffWorks with vendors to determine, review and document acceptance of system changes. Facilitates communications between IS personnel and vendor representativesProvides technical assistance and support to expert usersFollows Project Management Office (PMO) guidelines on all projectsAssures that all necessary documentation (i.e. procedures, processes) is properly completedTroubleshoots issues and document for vendor resolutionUpdate all service requests on a monthly basis and communicate updates to the requestor on a monthly basisEnsures that email and voice mail indicate unavailability with alternative contact when out of officeAssume administrative tasks to support management as requested and perform other duties as assignedPerforms other duties assignedSkillsRelevant degree or experience in lieu of degreeRelevant Epic certification(s) required for those positions supporting an Epic application; must complete relevant Epic certification(s) within 12 months of hire or 12 months from transferring into positionTwo to four years in healthcare or information systems related positionsBachelor's DegreeExperience with the assigned applications desirable (Epic Certification if applicable)Experience working in an acute healthcare setting or vendor settingPrevious systems analyst or vendors experience a plusWorking knowledge of and experience using healthcare applicationsCompany OverviewEisenhower Health provides full range of state-of-the-art diagnostic, treatment and emergency facilities.
