This role involves managing projects, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with sales to ensure customer satisfaction and product alignment with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesManages application engineers, assign projects, and ensure tasks are completed efficientlyProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to the sales engineering teamDevelops and delivers technical product presentations used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teamsStaying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practicesWork with sales managers to develop account strategies, identify opportunities, and support closing dealsInteracts with customers’ technical teams for supportTravel to customers as neededAnalyzes customers’ technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resourcesReviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and qualityConduct performance evaluations and help team members develop their skills and reach their potentialEnsure the team provides excellent technical support to customers and that products are aligned with customer needs and industry standardsUses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirementsLeading the design and development of complex application features and functionalitiesTranslating technical specifications into code, including writing programs, testing, and debuggingPerforming system analysis, architecture design, and integration with other systemsTroubleshooting complex technical information to clients and stakeholdersSkillsEngineering Degree5+ years of professional working experience within a manufacturing or industrial equipment based settingNeed to have a strong technical background within hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including hydraulic cylinders, industrial and mobile valves, piston pumps, motors, and related components2+ years of management/leadership experience in a customer interfacing settingAbility to support engineered-to-order or configurable products in a manufacturing settingStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply ChainAbility to travel to headquarters 1 week per monthCompany OverviewL2x Talent Solutions is a recruiting and executive search company dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations across various industries.
