[Remote] Application Analyst Lead - Epic Professional Billing

NeerInfo Solutions is seeking an Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of Epic Professional Billing applications. This role involves collaborating with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and technical teams to optimize billing workflows and improve revenue capture while ensuring compliance with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and operational requirements related to professional billing and revenue cycle processesConfigure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) functionalityCollaborate with physicians, practice managers, billing staff, and stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and system enhancementsSupport charge capture, claim generation, coding workflows, payment posting, denials management, and reimbursement processesPerform system analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolutionDevelop and execute test plans for upgrades, new functionality, and system changesCreate and maintain system documentation, workflows, build specifications, and training materialsProvide end-user support and assist with training activitiesParticipate in Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, and implementation projectsEnsure compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standardsWork with integrated Epic applications, including Cadence, Prelude, HIM, Resolute, and other revenue cycle modules as neededCoordinate with technical teams on interfaces, reporting, and data validation activitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification, Accreditation, or ProficiencyExperience supporting Epic Professional Billing workflows and revenue cycle operationsStrong understanding of physician billing, coding, claims processing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle managementExperience with system configuration, testing, implementation, and production supportStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills5–10+ years of Epic analyst experience in healthcare environmentsExperience with additional Epic applications such as Epic Resolute Professional BillingCompany OverviewNeer Info Solutions is a boutique executive search firm and has been in the search industry since 2005.
