The role involves collaborating with teams, analyzing workflows, and ensuring seamless system integration to enhance application performance.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with internal and external technical and end user groups to ensure applications and other third-party systems meet the organization’s clinical and business needs when building and implementing the systemPerforms in-depth analysis of end user department workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues as they relate to design and build decisions as well as involves complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gatheringUnderstands and translates the business/clinical functionality into system configuration and workflowPrepares and executes test scripts for application testing, new release testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testingDocuments test results, design, change control, system problems, and internal procedures according to departmental standardsProvides technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex applications as well as monitors the systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity, and appropriately escalates issues/problemsMaintains knowledge of new technical concepts and solutions and their application to healthcareAssists with implementation and support of third-party systemsProvides the necessary experience and knowledge to ensure all aspects of the application integrate with the other cross-functional applications utilized by the organizationPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field2 years of experienceClinical employees must maintain licensure appropriate to clinical education and training, without lapseFor Cone HealthLink (CHL) / Epic applications, must satisfactorily complete required Epic certification testing within the timeframe specified in the Epic Certification commitment policyCompany OverviewCone Health is a not-for-profit network of health care providers serving people in Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham and surrounding counties.
