Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Creating content for ESPN programming using existing animation files and components
Interpreting project details and creative direction to deliver visually compelling solutions
Continuously developing skills in creating customized animations
Collaborating effectively with the team, responding to feedback and revision requests
Prioritizing multiple tasks and adapting to changing project requirements
Demonstrating strong attention to detail, schedules, delivery specifications, and established project workflows
Developing skills to design animation projects for professional formatting, rendering, and archiving
Creating graphics for studio shows and remote events, including daily show production planning
Requirements:
Entry-level position requiring basic knowledge of After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator
Fundamental understanding of production, motion theory, animation, and design principles
Strong attention to detail, schedules, delivery specifications, and established project workflows
Excellent overall attitude, open to creative and constructive feedback, able to adapt to project details seamlessly
Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and be confident while working independently
Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
Motivated to proactively learn new software
Online portfolio/demo reel required
Preferred Qualifications:
After Effects scripting experience
Basic understanding of Cinema 4D or similar 3D application and a willingness to advance your 3D skills
Experience working with clients and creating content within established brand guidelines
Prior sports design or animation experience in school or similar work experience
Interest in sports and experience with ESPN programming
