The Analytics Engineer II will operationalize analytics artifacts, collaborate with stakeholders, and bridge data engineering and analytics to deliver analytics-ready data assets for clinical and operational domains.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and model analytically ready datasets; implement and maintain semantic layers, metrics stores or data marts; apply data engineering best practices to analytics (version control, CI/CD, environment management); collaborate with BI analysts, data scientists and domain stakeholders to operationalize analytics products; ensure alignment with governance and data quality requirementsDesign and implement semantic layer components (metrics store objects, analytical models, data marts) to support domain KPIs and BI consumptionImplement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and deployment promotion for analytics products; own environment management for domain artifactsLead data quality monitoring for analytics products and collaborate with data stewards to remediate issues; maintain metadata and lineage in the catalogOptimize query and semantic performance for BI tools; implement best practices to reduce dashboard sprawl and inconsistent metricsCollaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate clinical workflows and EHR/ERP data into repeatable analytics products (e.g., procedure-level cost and outcomes dashboards, inventory visibility reports)Domain collaboration (e.g. clinical, financial, or supply chain), stakeholder facilitation and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business KPIs into reproducible metrics-as-code and communicate technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to mentor junior engineersWork with EHR/clinical data and supply‑chain/ERP data sources, follow interoperability expectations (FHIR/HL7 awareness for clinical integrations), support clinical analytics use cases (procedural analytics, outcomes measurement, preference card analytics) and supply‑chain analytics (spend, contract, inventory visibility) when relevantVersion control of analytics content, separate dev/test/prod environments, workflow orchestration, metadata/cataloging and performance testing to improve model uptime, adoption, code quality and defect resolutionAdhere to organizational data governance, privacy and security requirements (e.g., HIPAA-relevant controls), and collaborate with governance or ARB where analytics/AI artifacts will be used in clinical or high-risk contextsSkillsAt least 3 years In analytics/data roles with demonstrated delivery of analytics artifacts, experience with dbt or other analytics engineering tools, and hands-on CI/CD and orchestration tool usageAt least 3 years Advanced SQL, dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks, familiarity with metrics store concepts and knowledge-graph/ontology basics for semantic enrichment where applicableAt least 3 years Ability to implement CI/CD for analytics, automated testing, environment promotion and metadata/catalog integrationAt least 3 years Proficiency with at least one cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, MS Fabric) and BI tool optimizations (Power BI/Tableau performance tuning)Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related fieldAnalytics related certifications (e.g. Dbt Analytics Engineering, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Snowflake SnowPro, Databricks, Epic Cogito) or a learning plan requirement to be provided with offer includes missing relevant certifications needed to perform role, and certifications must be obtained within 180 days of starting first classAt least 1 year Exposure to machine learning, data science, or artificial intelligence conceptsAt least 1 year Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industryBenefitsEmployee portion of medical plan premiums are covered after 3 years.4%-10% employee savings plan match based on tenurePaid Parental Leave (up to 12 weeks)Caregiver LeaveAdoption and surrogacy reimbursementCompany OverviewChildren's Health care specialized children's all health related issue and solve instantly.
