[Remote] Analyst, Transfer Pricing

The role involves conducting financial customs and tariff analyses, supporting international trade projects, and performing industry research to help companies comply with trade regulations and optimize their supply chains.ResponsibilitiesExperience in trade compliance, customs, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including U.S. Customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreementsPrepare and submit import/export documentation (e.g., entry summaries, commercial invoices, packing lists) to ensure timely and accurate customs clearanceClassify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assess duties, taxes, and trade program eligibility (e.g., USMCA, GSP)Maintain and monitor records of import/export activity to ensure audit readiness and compliance with customs regulationsLiaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve import/export issues and ensure smooth cross-border transactionsPerforming financial and statistical analysis for clients that include Fortune 500 companies, top ranked law firms, non-profits, and government organizationsConducting interviews with our clients’ executive leadership teams to gather focused insight into their company’s global customs and international trade operationsUndertaking in-depth company, industry, and market researchWriting client reports, speaking at seminars, and preparing industry articlesSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Management (with a concentration in Economics or Finance) or other degree (with a minimum of four Junior and/or Senior level courses in Economics or Finance) from an accredited university or collegeExperience in trade compliance, customs, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, including U.S. Customs regulations, import/export laws, and international trade agreementsPrepare and submit import/export documentation (e.g., entry summaries, commercial invoices, packing lists) to ensure timely and accurate customs clearanceClassify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assess duties, taxes, and trade program eligibility (e.g., USMCA, GSP)Maintain and monitor records of import/export activity to ensure audit readiness and compliance with customs regulationsLiaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve import/export issues and ensure smooth cross-border transactionsPerforming financial and statistical analysis for clients that include Fortune 500 companies, top ranked law firms, non-profits, and government organizationsConducting interviews with our clients' executive leadership teams to gather focused insight into their company's global customs and international trade operationsUndertaking in-depth company, industry, and market researchWriting client reports, speaking at seminars, and preparing industry articlesStrong Microsoft Office skillsStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow & work on multiple assignmentsDemonstrated ability to focus on quality workExcellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesCompany OverviewKroll is a provider of risk solutions that helps clients make confident risk management decisions.
