[Remote] Analyst, Technology Operations

The Analyst, Technology Operations supports information governance and data privacy initiatives, serving as a resource for end users and contributing to the technical implementation of supporting systems.ResponsibilitiesServe as a point of escalation for end‑user issues related to supported tools and processes, ensuring timely triage and coordination with appropriate teamsSupport the implementation and ongoing operation of information governance, privacy, and DLP tools by assisting with configuration, testing, deployments, and routine operational tasksAssist with system changes, enhancements, and migrations by coordinating activities, documenting issues and outcomes, and supporting readiness for release, including interfacing with vendors and contractors contributing to the projectsAssist with gathering and documenting business and user requirements, use cases, and operational needs in collaboration with legal, privacy, security, IT operations and cross-departmental stakeholders from Program, Development and Communication teamsSupport discovery activities across systems and data sources by helping identify usage patterns, dependencies, and operational impactsSupport information governance, privacy, and DLP initiatives by assisting with program planning, backlog intake, and coordination of operational workContribute to research and information gathering related to tools, features, and process improvements, and summarize findings for program leadsHelp define and document success measures, operational metrics, and tracking mechanisms that support program goals related to risk reduction, compliance, and user adoptionAssist with collecting, maintaining, and validating operational data used or reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvementSupport compliance, audit, and readiness activities by maintaining documentation, inventories, and required recordsIdentify recurring issues, risks, and opportunities based on operational experience and user feedback, and coordinate follow‑up with program leads and stakeholdersActively pursue professional development and contribute to a culture of learning by building skills and sharing knowledgeSkills5+ years of experience in operations, IT support, customer or user support, or records and information management roles, preferably in a nonprofit or in legal, compliance, or another regulated environmentProficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with project management/collaboration tools (e.g., Monday.com)Working knowledge of records and information governance concepts and the ability to understand, apply, and explain related policies and standards in practical termsAbility to identify recurring issues, risks, and improvement opportunities and escalate or coordinate follow-up as neededStrong written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear user guidance, training, and updatesStrong verbal communication and customer service skills; able to respond to questions professionally and efficientlyStrong organizational skills, including coordinating across teams, following through on requests, managing multiple priorities, and communicating statusExperience handling sensitive information with discretion and appropriate judgmentOperate with initiative and sound judgment.
