[Remote] Analyst, GIS
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Newmark is a company focused on geospatial information services, and they are seeking a GIS Analyst to support their Research and Marketing teams. The role involves conducting various geospatial analyses, producing mapping collateral, and collaborating with sales professionals to provide high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
• Conduct location and other geospatial analysis, including demographics, competitor locations, commutation and drive time studies, and real estate market metrics at a local, regional, and national scale
• Produce vector, 3D, and aerial imagery, as well as interactive web maps and dashboards
• Collaborate with sales professionals, researchers, and marketing teams to interpret and convey narratives geospatially
• Provide aerial mapping support for brochures, marketing materials and packages
• Obtain and maintain accurate market data; to include assess and validate current GIS data for integrity in terms of volume, consistency and redundancy
• Use the department’s branding and design standards to produce deliverables with high quality design
Skills
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in major GIS applications, advanced degree a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Exceptional mapping software skills, GIS certification a plus
• Familiarity with basic concepts of demographics and cartography
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and integrate project segments
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Knowledge of Python, Javascript, and other relevant coding programs a plus
