[Remote] Analyst, Financial Reporting & Analysis

The Analyst will be responsible for completing accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis while ensuring accurate financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesSupport the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, reconciling accounts, and producing accurate financial statementsPrepare and review account reconciliations and verify accuracy of the general ledgerConduct variance analysis for balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate discrepanciesInterpret contract language affecting Medicaid plansProcess invoice paymentsAssist with collections of outstanding Medicaid settlementsProvide documentation and information for internal and external auditsParticipate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis within the controllership organizationSkillsExperience in Microsoft Excel; ability to work with large data sets and build/maintain complex spreadsheetsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance1+ year of experience in accounting or finance with an emphasis on month end close and analysisFamiliarity with financial systems or reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Sequel, SAP)Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, reliable workStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesSolid written and verbal communication skills, including ability to summarize findings clearlyBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues and their families.The benefits for this position include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
