[Remote] Analyst, Digital Commerce

The role involves supporting eCommerce customers through data analysis to drive business growth, monitoring trade performance, and assisting sales teams with administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesPull data and perform analyses to support sales team in growing the business at assigned customersSupport Sales, Finance and Demand Planning through weekly/monthly data pulls providing volume, sales, weeks of supply, and providing insights into key trends and opportunitiesImprove forecasting through development and maintenance of monthly customer forecast templates analyzing consumption trends and customer order historyUtilize syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand business trends, and provide a point of view on solutionsDeliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls, presentation development, etcPerform analyses to identify new distribution and incremental sales opportunities for given customer(s)Generate sales reports in support of customer performance and contract adherence managementSupport trade management through analyzing current sales performance and consumption trends against liabilities, invoices, and deductionsInput information for sales teams into systemsOwn process for entering and submitting trade updates into the trade management system across all categories for assigned customers ensuring audit complianceOwn creating, updating, and managing new item setup within Kantar (DCP) for all new items as dictated by account leadsOwn new item setup with customers through entering new item details into customer portals, submitting offline new item forms, securing images from digital shelf, and procuring samplesSupport sales teams with administrative tasksSupport item maintenance through managing and customer product lists, updating pricing, securing compliance documentation, and ensuring specs are up to dateSupport trade management through price block analysis, deduction resolution, and ensuring audit complianceLead direction of cash application of our invoices with the revenue specialistRespond and/delegate customer inquiries for item list price updates, ANDON cords, statement requests, and disputesBuild and execute category plans at specific customers to grow business (where applicable)Coordinate selling process for necessary categories at given customerGain a deep understanding of customer needs and priorities within covered categories (e.g., their KPIs, business/category goals, etc.)Look for opportunities to gain distribution on new products and improve product exposure (shelf positioning, advertising, and promotions) – including monitoring what competitors are doingAssist in negotiations with customer headquarters/category buyers on pricing, new items, and promotionsLeverage internal resources (category management, customer planning, shopper marketing, etc.) to drive success at customer across covered categoriesSkills4 year business degree0 to 3 years work experienceStrong analytical skills and ability to analyze dataStrong excel skillsSuperior communication skills (written and verbal)Strong, proven potential leadership skillsExcellent attention to detailExperience with Amazon Vendor CentralIdeally CPG experienceBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionPrescription Drug Coverage401k PlanWellness ProgramLife InsuranceTuition ReimbursementFlexible Time OffPaid Parental Bonding LeaveCompany OverviewDanone produces and distributes a wide range of food and beverage products focused on nutrition.
