They are seeking a data-driven Analyst to join their team, responsible for translating data into actionable insights that drive category growth and support cross-functional teams in decision-making processes.ResponsibilitiesTranslate syndicated (IRI/Circana, Nielsen) and internal data into actionable insights that drive category growth, assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional effectivenessDevelop clear, compelling, and insight-led sales narratives that strengthen retailer conversations and support high-impact customer presentationsPartner with Sales and Marketing to support line reviews, customer strategy development, and go-to-market executionServe as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Production), using data to inform key business decisions and identify opportunities for growth and efficiencySupport the S&OP process through demand forecasting, performance tracking, and trend analysis to improve forecast accuracy and alignmentSupport the CEO with various ad hoc analysis projects for both customers and investorsEvaluate trade spending and promotional performance, delivering ROI insights and recommendations to optimize investment decisionsDesign and maintain dashboards, tools, and reporting that enhance visibility in business performance and enable faster decision-makingManage relationships with external data providers and internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity, consistency, and best-in-class analytics utilizationTrack and improve core business KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, margin performance, and promotional ROISkills1–3 years of experience in analytics, category management, or insights within CPG, retail, or a related industryHands-on experience with syndicated data platforms (IRI/Circana, Nielsen) and a strong understanding of how to apply insights to real-world business decisionsBachelor's degree required; Master's in Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field preferredAdvanced Excel skills, including Power Query and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); ability to build clear, intuitive reportingAdvanced database skills, including SQL proficiency and Python proficiencyStrong analytical mindset with ability to move beyond the data—connecting insights to business implications and recommendationsExceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience building presentations and influencing both internal and external stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentSelf-starter with a high level of ownership, curiosity, and a bias for actionPanel data experience preferred (Numerator, IRI Panel, Nielsen Panel, etc.)Experience working in or supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or S&OP environments strongly preferredBenefits10% BonusExcellent health benefitsGenerous PTO policy and holidays401(K) with matchSupportive, engaging work environmentCompany OverviewFor over two decades, Verde Farms has been on a mission to bring consumers responsibly raised beef that is always organic and always delicious, recognizing the broken food system created by the corporate beef industry.
