[Remote] Analyst, Business Intelligence

They are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team, where the candidate will take ownership of analytical projects, drive strategic insights, and deliver accurate work products.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Independently own and drive specific components of larger projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines agreed upon with stakeholders
ā¢ Manage assigned work end-to-end, demonstrating a solid understanding of project goals and business needs and asking clarifying questions when needed
ā¢ Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, communicating key updates and anticipating potential delays
ā¢ Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to conduct data analysis and translate findings into clear, actionable business insights
ā¢ Apply rigorous and documented data validation techniques to ensure work is accurate and error-free before submission
ā¢ Clearly articulate the analysis approach and methodology, justifying decisions with relevant business context (the "why") rather than only focusing on technical implementation
ā¢ Articulate clear and concise takeaways in verbal and written communication
ā¢ Simplify complex technical concepts and data narratives for non-technical stakeholders, fostering organizational clarity and alignment
ā¢ Provide proactive partnership by identifying opportunities to contribute data expertise or analysis, even when not explicitly assigned
Skills
ā¢ 1-3 years of professional or internship experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical field
ā¢ Proficient in SQL (required for data extraction and manipulation)
ā¢ Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
ā¢ Strong foundational skills in data analysis and interpretation
ā¢ Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university
ā¢ Ability to clearly articulate and logically structure thought processes, analysis plans, and conclusions
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to manage assignments, meet agreed-upon deadlines, and deliver complete and accurate work consistently
ā¢ Capacity to quickly understand the core business problem and connect analytical findings directly to business strategy and value
ā¢ Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment and closely collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different departments
