[Remote] AML Analyst

The AML Analyst role involves performing investigations related to transaction monitoring and customer due diligence to protect the bank and its customers from financial crimes.ResponsibilitiesPerform extensive investigations related to transaction monitoring and customer due diligence that could implicate potential money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financingPrepare and document triage investigations and their dispositions according to FINCEN/FFIEC expectations and Bank ProceduresPrepare detailed escalation and dismissal narratives per FFIEC expectations and Bank proceduresMaintain organized documentation related to financial crimes activities, including investigations, audits, and regulatory examsPerform day-to-day activities consistent with safe and sound business practices and regulatory requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience performing investigations for a regulated financial institution2+ years of experience with BSA/AML and OFAC laws and regulationsDetail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of AML typologies and red flagsExperience preparing and documenting financial crimes investigations in accordance with FFIEC expectationsCAMS certification preferred, but not requiredBenefitsComprehensive health, dental, and vision plans, including options that are 100% covered by Column for youFSA and HSA account options to enable use of pre-tax money for medical and dependent care expensesPaid PTO, including 80 hours of vacation and 80 hours of sick leave each yearEligibility to participate in Column’s 401k plan, including self-directed brokerage optionsCompany OverviewColumn is a developer infrastructure company that enables developers and builders to create new financial products.
