[Remote] Algotale-Backend Nodejs Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Algotale Group is seeking a Backend Developer who is self-motivated and creative, to work in a fast-paced environment. The role involves developing and maintaining products, designing REST APIs, and participating in architecture reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and maintain our products
ā¢ Contribute to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features that will transform the capital markets
ā¢ Design & deliver thoughtfully crafted REST APIs, interfaces and database schemas to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
ā¢ Produce high-quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable
ā¢ Contribute to test automation within an agile team
ā¢ Participate in and contribute actively to architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and post-mortems, and raise the bar for engineering best practices across the team
ā¢ Document changes and guides for the applications
ā¢ Collaborate closely with cross-team members and departments
ā¢ Provide technical support for our stakeholders
Skills
ā¢ 2 to 3 years of experience with deep technical knowledge and hands-on skills on Node.js
ā¢ Experience on ExpressJs
ā¢ Analyze, design, develop, as well as implement RESTful services and APIs
ā¢ Ability to use Asynchronous Programming to improve productivity
ā¢ Hands on experience on MYSQL and MongoDB
ā¢ Hands on experience on writing unit test cases
ā¢ Has worked extensively on caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached
ā¢ Good knowledge on AWS services such as S3, SNS and SQS etc
ā¢ Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code
ā¢ Knowledge of micro-service architecture is a plus
ā¢ Foundation-level knowledge and programming experience with Fintech is a bonus
