The role involves defining, architecting, and executing AI and GenAI-led transformation strategies, while leading cross-functional teams and engaging with C-Suite stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end AI transformation engagements from discovery and design through deployment, ensuring measurable ROI and enterprise alignmentDevelop and implement AI/GenAI strategies across business functions including finance, operations, risk, and customer experienceDesign Intelligent Automation solutions leveraging RPA, IDP, advanced analytics, and LLM-based workflows to re-engineer core processesServe as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior leadership; translate AI capabilities into compelling business cases and transformation roadmapsPartner with technology, product, and data teams to integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise platforms and data ecosystemsLead and mentor cross-functional project teams; drive concurrent AI and Automation workstreams using Agile methodologiesDevelop AS-IS / TO-BE process maps to identify automation and AI augmentation opportunities with quantified business impactMonitor and report on AI program performance; build dashboards and KPI frameworks for executive stakeholder visibilityStay ahead of emerging AI trends and evaluate new tools, models, and frameworks for enterprise applicabilitySkills12+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise AI program leadershipHands-on experience with AI/ML deployment, RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), IDP, and GenAI toolsDemonstrated ability to build and lead AI Centers of Excellence or similar governance bodiesExperience managing complex, multi-workstream programs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills — ability to present to and influence CXO-level audiencesMBA from a top-tier institution or equivalent advanced degree preferredLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; hands-on experience with process reengineering methodologiesCertifications in GenAI for Business Leaders (PMI) or equivalentFinancial services domain expertise — wealth management, annuities, insurance, or bankingExperience with Task Mining, Workforce Intelligence tools, or process discovery platformsCompany OverviewEXL is a provider of Transformation and Outsourcing services to Global 1000 companies in multiple industries It was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in New York, New York, USA, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
