The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing production systems, and implementing best practices for security and scalability.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize AI training pipelines using Python, GoLang, JavaScript, and Rust within complex engineering stacksDesign, troubleshoot, and manage production-grade system builds, Dockerized sandboxes, and CI/CD workflowsDemonstrate advanced problem-solving by navigating filesystems, managing processes, and recovering from system errorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to refine data sets, model behaviors, and infrastructure for AI learningDocument and communicate technical solutions clearly, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and process improvementsImplement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability across infrastructure and codebasesSkillsHave strong relevant experience as a software engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer in production environmentsPossess expert proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, and Rust; familiarity with C/C++ and Bash is a plusHave robust experience with build systems, package managers, ML frameworks, databases, cryptography, and version control toolsDemonstrate mastery in terminal-based workflows, including problem decomposition and dynamic replanning under constraintsHave a proven ability to design and maintain complex infrastructure, including Docker and server administrationHave exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear communication and collaborative teamworkCompany OverviewCrossing Hurdles connects skilled professionals with opportunities across AI training platforms and high-growth companies.
