[Remote] AI Trainer – Visual & Graphic Design Expert (Remote) - Boston
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Prolific is building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world, and they are seeking Professional Graphic and Visual Designers as Domain Experts for a high-level AI evaluation project. The role involves evaluating design outputs to influence how AI understands design principles.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate two candidate designs (e.g., Google Slides, posters, or advertisements) on the same topic and determine which better meets professional standards
• Judge candidates based on specific design dimensions, including readability, text density, information hierarchy, and overall professionalism
• Review 'before and after' style tasks to determine which AI output better satisfied a specific design edit or change request
• Take part in new, narrow tasks aimed at refining how AI handles concise visual communication
Skills
• Professional design credentials: You must have a formal education in Graphic/Visual Design plus at least 1 year of professional experience OR 5+ years of high-level experience working with professional clients
• Technical literacy: You must be familiar with the industry-standard stack (Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• A critical eye: You can distinguish between 'consumer-grade' and 'enterprise-ready' content, ensuring outputs are professional and highly readable
• Portfolio: A valid link to your portfolio or work samples is required during the screening process
• Experience in Interaction Design or Motion Graphics
• A background in Brand Building, Advertising, or Marketing
