[Remote] AI Staff Software Engineer

They are seeking a Staff AI Software Engineer to build the technical backbone of their AI systems and contribute to the development of the PromptQL product.ResponsibilitiesWrite production code, design architecture, optimize performance, shape infrastructure, and contribute to safety mechanismsBuild the core stack, rapidly design and implement features across the PromptQL AI assistant, the PromptQL data engine, and the PromptQL runtime infrastructureSkillsYou have 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 1+ years building AI or ML-powered systemsYou've designed and shipped complex distributed systems at scale, and you know how to optimize for performance, cost, and reliabilityYou've worked directly with large language models (LLMs) in productionYou're fluent in Python and/or a systems language, and you can move comfortably between infrastructure, APIs, and core product logicYou're comfortable leading technically: writing high-leverage design docs, setting engineering direction, and mentoring other senior engineersYou're biased toward action and can operate with high autonomy.
