[Remote] AI Program Manager

The AI Program Manager will lead project delivery, manage AI and machine learning initiatives, and ensure high-quality outcomes across manufacturing and distribution operations.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery and position the PMO as a strategic advisor to the organizationDevelop and manage project plans, charters, communication plans, testing plans, and implementation plansManage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality of deliverablesPartner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to support the development and execution of AI use casesTranslate business problems into AI-ready problem statements and define success metrics such as ROI, adoption, and performanceCoordinate technology teams across the AI lifecycleManage AI-specific risks including data quality, bias, explainability, security, and regulatory complianceOversee AI pilots, proofs of concept, and production deployments, including post-launch monitoring and supportManage vendors, platforms, and partners delivering AI capabilities and servicesLead AI-focused change management to drive adoption, trust, and effective use of AI solutionsAssist with driving the adoption and maturation of the Agile methodologiesApply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches based on project needsLead and facilitate roundtable and executive workshopsCollaborate with executive leadership to present prioritized AI use cases (including scoring and rationale) and provide concise updates on individual projects and overall program health (milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions needed, and value delivered)SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePMP certification or in active pursuitAgile certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)8–10 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives5–8 years of information technology management experience2–5 years in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or operational environmentsProven experience delivering AI, machine learning, or data-driven solutionsStrong collaboration, communication, facilitation, and risk management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business languageStrong customer service mindset and urgency to deliver resultsAbility to think strategically and solve complex problemsCommitment to knowledge sharing and continuous improvementAI, machine learning, or data analytics training or certificationCompany OverviewACR is a single stream resource for essential packaging and preparation products used in the foodservice, janitorial, sanitation, education, industrial, hospitality, and healthcare industries.
