This role involves partnering with procurement teams to identify challenges and translating needs into practical AI-enabled solutions, while owning the end-to-end lifecycle from problem definition through deployment and iteration.ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and inefficienciesIdentify and prioritize AI/automation opportunities based on impact and feasibilityTranslate business needs into clear use cases and requirementsDesign, build, and deploy AI agents and automation toolsSupport use cases such as spend visibility, supplier insights, risk monitoring, RFQs, contract analysis, and workflow automationDevelop both prototypes and production-ready solutions using modern AI tools and APIsRapidly prototype, test, and refine solutions with end usersDeploy tools into live workflows and drive adoption through training and supportIterate based on feedback and performance metricsLeverage internal data to power AI-driven insightsIntegrate solutions with ERP and procurement systems as neededEnsure solutions are simple, scalable, and effectiveIdentify new opportunities for AI within procurementStay current on emerging technologies and expand tool capabilities over timeSkills5–8 years in analytics, automation, AI, or digital solutionsProven experience building and deploying AI tools or automation workflowsStrong experience partnering with business stakeholders to solve operational problemsExperience with AI agents or intelligent automation solutionsProcurement, supply chain, or operations experienceFamiliarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SAP Ariba)Experience with data visualization toolsBackground in manufacturing or industrial environmentsCompany OverviewFortifi offers a wide range of automated food processing solutions for the entire food industry.
