They are seeking an AI & Innovation Intern to work on real-world projects involving artificial intelligence, data science, and digital health technologies, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the team's innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesContribute to projects across one or more of the team's core competency areas (i.e., applied AI, data science, dev innovation, connected device innovation, and enterprise AI)Write clean, well-documented code in Python and/or other languages relevant to the assigned projectAssist with data preparation, analysis, and pipeline developmentSupport the design, prototyping, and testing of AI-enabled features and toolsParticipate in daily standups, team meetings, and agile development practicesDocument findings, processes, and technical decisionsPresent work and learnings to the team and stakeholdersSkillsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related fieldFoundational programming skills in Python or a similar languageFamiliarity with version control (Git/GitHub)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyCoursework or experience in machine learning, statistics, or data analysisExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, or similar)Experience with SQL and database managementFamiliarity with REST APIs and web development frameworksInterest in healthcare, clinical trials, or life sciencesPrior internship or project experience in software engineering or data scienceCompany OverviewClinical Ink develops electronic documents recording software for recording source data on mobile devices during clinical trials.
