They are seeking an AI Full Stack Engineer to develop cutting-edge, AI-powered video creation tools and collaborate with a talented engineering team to create innovative features and improve code quality.ResponsibilitiesCreate rich multimedia interfaces using the cutting edge of the latest AI video generation models Gen-4 and AlephBuild end-to-end full-stack AI-powered product features — designing and developing both frontend experiences and backend systems, including authoring server-side processes and APIs that power our generative AI toolsDesign and implement LLM-powered features and conversational interfacesPartner with a world-class engineering team pushing the boundaries of creativity and content creation on the browserTake on new challenges across the Frontend stack to implement product features for Runway’s machine learning based generative AI toolsImprove the performance, reliability, and code quality of our codebasesSkills3+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, ideally full-stack focusedDemonstrated fluency of one or more programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience building with third-party AI APIs (e.g., chatbots, LLM integrations)Experience in architecting production-ready systems and familiarity with debugging and profiling toolsAbility to rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them with tight product deadlinesHumility and open mindedness; at Runway we love to learn from one anotherCompany OverviewRunway offers generative AI tools for creating images, videos, and simulations, enabling new creative workflows through AI.
