Position Overview We are hiring a Remote AI Engineer & Researcher (Inference) to help scale Speechify’s machine learning and AI voice systems . This role is perfect for someone passionate about artificial intelligence, natural language processing, cloud computing, and high-performance inference models . You will work on mission-critical production services , ensuring top-tier scalability, speed, and reliability of Speechify’s AI products. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and product managers to deliver advanced AI voice solutions across diverse use cases. Deploy and manage ML inference workloads that power Speechify’s speech technology pipeline. Optimize performance, latency, and throughput for large-scale AI models. Build monitoring tools to identify system bottlenecks and implement robust solutions. Contribute to architecture improvements and introduce innovative AI/ML techniques . Ideal Candidate Profile Strong experience in Python-based services and scalable backend development. Proven track record of managing critical production services in cloud environments (GCP preferred). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments . Background in deploying ML models to production at scale (preferred). Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. Why Join Speechify?
