We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our growing team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications while building and integrating AI-driven solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Go, Python, and other modern languagesBuild and integrate AI-driven solutions, including prompt engineering and automation workflowsRapidly prototype and iterate on new ideas to deliver minimum viable products (MVPs)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement technical solutionsOptimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainabilityParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and contribute to process improvementsSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in Go, Python, and at least one additional modern language (Java, C#, or Rust)Experience with AI/ML frameworks and automation tools (e.g., IBM UFT, PowerAutomate)Strong understanding of cloud-native development and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)Experience with OpenAIHands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with distributed systems and microservices architectureKnowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)Experience with Retrieval-Augmented GenerationKnowledge of AI operations and MLOps practices for deploying and maintaining machine learning modelsFamiliarity with secure coding principles and basic cybersecurity best practicesExperience in federal, defense, or highly regulated environments a plusRelevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Developer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer)Company OverviewEchelon Services provides cutting-edge technology consulting services to federal agencies and industry partners that modernize, secure and fundamentally transform how the U.S. It was founded in 2017, and is headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
