[Remote] AI Consultant

Dice is seeking an AI Consultant to support discovery efforts and help shape practical AI-driven solutions for business operations in Carmel, Indiana. This role will focus on analyzing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and aligning AI capabilities with enterprise resource planning platforms.ResponsibilitiesLead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand current processes, operational challenges, and areas where AI can add measurable valueEvaluate business workflows connected to Electronic Data Interchange and enterprise resource planning systems to identify automation and optimization opportunitiesProvide guidance on how AI solutions can integrate with platforms such as Prophet 21 and related Prophet-based environmentsTranslate business objectives into clear solution recommendations, functional concepts, and implementation considerations for cross-functional teamsCollaborate with technical and business partners to define use cases, priorities, and success measures for AI initiativesDocument findings, process insights, and recommended next steps in a clear format that supports decision-making and project planningAssess data inputs, system dependencies, and operational constraints that may affect AI adoption within existing enterprise applicationsSupport ongoing refinement of proposed solutions by incorporating stakeholder feedback, business requirements, and platform considerationsSkillsAt least 1 year of experience in a consulting, business analysis, AI, or related solution-oriented roleHands-on exposure to discovery activities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, or workflow assessmentWorking knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange and its role in business operations and system connectivityFamiliarity with enterprise resource planning concepts and experience supporting environments that include Prophet 21 or Prophet platformsUnderstanding of AI tools or solutions, including the ability to evaluate practical business applications for technologies such as ClaudeAbility to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders while presenting recommendations and findingsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize information into actionable next stepsBenefitsBenefits are available to contract/temporary professionals, including medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan.Company OverviewDice is the go-to career marketplace for tech professionals.
