[Remote] Agency Management Specialist I

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and systems that support agents in conducting business, providing administrative and technical support to various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesGather and review all incoming documents related to agency/producer appointments and licensingProcesses agency and agent appointments that places agents in a position to do business with EMPLOYERS as quickly and efficiently as possibleEnsures agency and agent data is accurate and consistent between systemsPeriodically assigns tasks and centralized email requests to team members based on the type of task/request and current workloadsOwns request intake, including, but not limited to the AM Outlook Inbox, phone calls, mail, and AMR tasking in CRMTracks returned mail from agency mailings and maintains master mailing list in the Customer Relationship Management systemReceives incoming producer appointment-related phone calls/e-mails and responds appropriatelyInteracts with Agencies, Sales, and Underwriting departments to provide guidance on contract and appointment procedures based on state rules and regulationsCollaborates with other departments to resolve day-to-day issues and problem solves systems issues that affect agentsβ ability to conduct businessUnderstands and carries out oral and written instructionsWorks with various computer programs to verify information and answer questions appropriatelyOther duties as assignedSkills1-2 years' work experience in a similar type of position; or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training in secretarial/administrative workDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate and confidential mannerExcellent oral and written communication, listening and interpersonal relationship skillsStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsGood analytical problem-solving and decision-making skillsDetail oriented and demonstrate ability to take initiative with minimal supervisionProficient in the use of computer programs; including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Internet applicationsAbility to exercise tact and good judgmentMust have demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures, methods, and equipment including copiers, fax and telephone systemsMust have High School Diploma or GED equivalentBenefitsA comprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewEmployers is a provider of workers' compensation insurance for small businesses.
