Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. STI is seeking an Advanced Planning Document Writer for the Division of Health Benefits, NC Medicaid. This role involves developing Advanced Planning Documents (APDs) and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful system certification and compliance with CMS expectations.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, collect, and compile data from the business and technological teams to develop a solid, viable, meaningful APD within required timelinesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication, data, analysis, and development plans remain on scheduleCoordinate and meet with various teams, suppliers, legal, and key stakeholders to support the gathering, analysis, and finalization of information to obtain final sign-off on APDsWork alongside the DHB business units, Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) project teams, technology teams, and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of project and related requirements to develop an appropriate APDFacilitate and coordinate APD review meetings with key stakeholdersReview contract and amendment submittal letters for accuracy and relevancyInterface with mid-level executive management and project teams to clearly articulate current APD activities and translate the information provided into concise updatesMaintain awareness of CMS policy updates, organization, and communications as applicableIndependently review and prepare APD documents for review and approvalReview, support and provide feedback on NC HIEA APDsReview all relevant regulations and standards for APDs and other documentation are in alignment and serves as the expert on the subjectUtilize tools, templates, and developed methods to keep abreast of project activities across the programAbility to exercise communication skills in both written and verbal means to take complex concepts and convert into easily understood written documentationOrganize material and complete writing assignments according to agency standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminologyAttend DHB meetings to stay informed of current activities in NC MedicaidCoordinate with Business Units to compile responses to CMS questions during the APD and procurement document review processPerforms other duties as requiredSkillsExperience in developing Advanced Planning Documents (APDs)Ability to develop, collect, and compile data from business and technological teamsAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholdersAbility to coordinate and meet with various teams, suppliers, legal, and key stakeholdersAbility to work alongside DHB business units, Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) project teams, technology teams, and subject matter expertsAbility to facilitate and coordinate APD review meetingsAbility to review contract and amendment submittal letters for accuracy and relevancyAbility to interface with mid-level executive management and project teamsAbility to maintain awareness of CMS policy updates, organization, and communicationsAbility to independently review and prepare APD documents for review and approvalAbility to review, support and provide feedback on NC HIEA APDsAbility to review all relevant regulations and standards for APDsAbility to utilize tools, templates, and developed methods to keep abreast of project activitiesAbility to exercise communication skills in both written and verbal meansAbility to organize material and complete writing assignments according to agency standardsAbility to attend DHB meetings to stay informed of current activities in NC MedicaidAbility to coordinate with Business Units to compile responses to CMS questions during the APD and procurement document review processCompany OverviewSTI Education Services Group is an education administration company.
