[Remote] Adobe DAM Business ANalyst (contract)

Xcel Energy is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join a high-impact CMS Replacement Project focused on re-platforming a customer-facing website using Adobe Experience Manager. This role involves writing user stories, capturing business requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across multiple digital asset management and content management streams.ResponsibilitiesWrite high-volume, high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria to support development and configuration across DAM, CMS, personalization, search, and integrations workstreamsCapture and translate business requirements into functional specifications and help refine design documents in collaboration with Business and Delivery teamsGather and document DAM-specific requirements including metadata schemas, taxonomy, asset workflows, renditions, smart tags, content fragments, and governanceSupport content and asset migration efforts including asset and metadata mapping, bulk ingestion planning, and rights and usage attribute documentationDocument requirements for CMS templates, components, and forms, including how assets are surfaced and linked within the CMS authoring environmentGather and document personalization requirements for AEM and Adobe Target, including audience targeting, A/B testing, and experience optimizationGather and document website search requirements including indexing, relevancy, faceting and filtering, and out-of-the-box Adobe search configurationDefine integration requirements across the digital ecosystem, including Google Analytics 4, Salesforce CRM Chatbot and Live Agent functionality, Medallia, SSO and authentication, and other CMS and DAM integrations as neededPartner with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Lead BA, and Systems Integrator to drive sprint delivery and maintain backlog healthActively participate in all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning with estimation, Story Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint RetrospectivesPerform functional validation and testing support on authored stories to confirm work was completed as intended, partnering with the Product Owner and supporting QA testers with practical, user-focused feedbackAct as a quality check on deliverables and overall user experience throughout the project lifecycleFlex into CMS, Target, or integrations focus areas as workload and project needs shiftSkills5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst working within Agile and Scrum delivery environmentsProven experience supporting CMS and DAM implementations and website re-platforming projects, ideally involving migration from a legacy platform to AdobeDemonstrated experience writing user stories at volume while maintaining high quality and clear acceptance criteriaExperience collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, development teams, and Systems Integrators in a structured Agile delivery modelHands-on expertise with Adobe Experience Manager DAM (AEM Assets) and AEM Sites CMS, with strong, demonstrable knowledge across both sides of the ecosystemDeep DAM-specific expertise including asset metadata schemas and taxonomy, asset processing and renditions, smart tags, content fragments, asset workflows, DAM governance, and asset-to-page linkageProven ability to gather requirements for digital asset migration and ingestion, including bulk upload, asset mapping, metadata mapping, and rights and usage attributesExperience gathering requirements for Adobe Target and personalization, including audience targeting, A/B testing, and experience optimizationExperience gathering requirements for website search functionality, including search configuration, indexing, relevancy, and faceting and filteringStrong user story writing skills using the traditional 'As a, I want, so that' format, with well-defined acceptance criteriaProven ability to gather, clarify, and refine requirements and design documents in
