Columbia College is an educational institution seeking an Admissions Operations Coordinator to manage the admissions application process for undergraduate and graduate students. The role involves reviewing application files, processing documents, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations.ResponsibilitiesPerform job duties in accordance with Columbia College’s vision, mission, and values, and contribute to the development of the Admissions Operations DepartmentReview completed and incomplete application files for admission to the college for undergraduate and graduate admissionsTrack undergraduate and graduate admission file process and verify the accuracy of applicant file informationProcess application materials and supporting documents by entering data into the student information system and imaging documents to applicant and student recordsSupport admissions recruitment activities by assisting with on-campus and virtual events as neededMaintain processing volumes that consistently meet established accuracy, productivity, and service-level expectationsPrioritize workload based on enrollment deadlines, daily operational needs, student service expectations, and institutional prioritiesAssist with the testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of admissions processes, systems, and operational initiativesReview and resolve applications containing conflicting, incomplete, or inconsistent information, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentationReview admission decisions and applicant records to ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMaintain a working knowledge of federal, state, and institutional regulations related to admissions processing and decision-makingPractice superior customer serviceFulfill additional responsibilities as assignedDisplay respect and civility to all constituencies in all communicationsAttend work timely and on a regular basis during the established hours of operation; work additional hours as business necessitatesSkillsAbility to fluently read, write, and understand the English languageProficiency with the following, but not limited to active listening, speaking, writing, critical thinking, judgment and decision making, monitoring, reading comprehension, time management, coordination, and management of personnel resourcesProficiency in using a variety of computer and technology-related software and equipment, including Microsoft Office products and database systemsProficiency in using web-based technologies, including database systemsAbility to work independently and in a team environment, with or without direct supervisionExcellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skillsAccurate data entry, detail-oriented, and task-driven with the ability to multitaskKnowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administrationHigh School GraduateAssociate's DegreePreferred experience with TargetX and SalesforcePreferred experience with SoftDocsPreferred experience with Ellucian ColleagueCompany OverviewOFFICIAL LinkedIn of Columbia College (Columbia, MO) It was founded in 1851, and is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
