Key Responsibilities
Β Conduct assigned courses within the Pharmacy Technician program.
Β Facilitate engaging bi-weekly live sessions via Zoom for each course.
Β Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate office hours and individual student meetings, ensuring personalized support.
Β Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assessments, quizzes, and projects, guiding students in their learning journey.
Β Actively engage with at-risk students to offer mentorship and improve their academic success.
Β Maintain precise records of student performance, including progress and attendance, and submit final grades in accordance with university policies.
Β Participate in faculty meetings, training programs, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methodologies and stay current with industry trends.
Β Execute other duties as assigned in alignment with faculty responsibilities and university guidelines.
Required Skills
Β Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Β Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships in both individual and group settings.
Β Ability to collaborate efficiently within a team environment to achieve departmental objectives.
Β Proficiency in virtual tools and software such as MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom, and more.
Qualifications
Β An Associate degree in a health-related field is preferred.
Β PTCB Certification is mandatory.
Β A minimum of 3 years of hands-on pharmacy technician experience is required; experience with sterile compounding is advantageous.
Β Previous online teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
