[Remote] Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Upstream Rehabilitation is the country’s largest dedicated provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy services. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate to manage and resolve unpaid accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for aged accounts. Responsibilities Manage and resolve unpaid accounts with precision and professionalism Drive results by meeting productivity standards while reducing outstanding AR balances Verify payments for accuracy and completeness, and correct account discrepancies (e.g., payer verification, resolving overlaps, reviewing EOBs, processing adjustments or transfers) Document all actions and account reviews thoroughly and accurately Identify and report errors, compliance issues and trends to your leader Stay informed on state billing rules, guidelines, and statue of limitations Provide exception support to internal and external customers Handle escalated accounts promptly and report findings as required Other projects and duties as assigned Skills High School diploma or equivalent experience At least one year of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare and Commercial Insurance in a high-production environment Exceptional communication skills, including oral and written Strong organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail, and capacity to multitask effectively Proven ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications Three plus years of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare and Commercial Insurance in a high-production environment Experience identifying processes and recommending solutions Benefits Annual paid Charity Day to give back to a cause meaningful to you 100% employer paid medical health insurance premium option available Dental and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Supportive team and leadership invested in your success Company Overview Upstream Rehabilitation is an outpatient physical therapy provider.
