[Remote] Accounts Payable/Accounting Analyst

They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and maintaining strong vendor relationships while improving workflows.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full accounts payable lifecycle from invoice receipt through payment, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPerform and maintain 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) with precision, proactively resolving discrepanciesProcess high volumes of invoices while maintaining >99% accuracyInvestigate and resolve invoice, purchase order, and vendor discrepancies professionally and efficientlyBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships through clear, timely communicationMonitor invoice processing timelines and drive improvements to reduce cycle timesEnsure proper coding aligned with general ledger accounts and company policiesSupport month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliationsIdentify and implement process improvements within AP workflowsMaintain organized, audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with internal controlsWork independently with strong accountability while collaborating cross-functionallySkills5+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environmentStrong hands-on experience with 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)Proven ability to manage large transaction volumes with high accuracy and efficiencyExperience in fast-paced operational environments (manufacturing preferred)Solid understanding of general ledger and accounting principlesAssociate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferredExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and take full ownershipContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiencyHigh accountability, reliability, and sense of urgencyPractical problem-solving and strong execution skillsAdaptability and comfort with process changeEffective communication skills for vendor and cross-functional interactionBachelor's degree preferredExperience in fast-paced operational environments (manufacturing preferred)BenefitsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsA people-first culture with a long-term business focusCompany OverviewAFB International is a food production company providing liquid and dry palatability enhancers.
