Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in our financial operations team, responsible for processing transactions, managing accounts payable, and ensuring timely payments to agents and external sources. Your exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Process transactions and manage accounts payable in a timely and efficient manner
Post A/P invoices, pay A/P invoices, and process payments to agents and external sources
Prepare monthly revenue share payments and process excess payments as directed
Maintain accurate banking information and A/P spreadsheets
Assist the A/P Team Lead with special projects and requests
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and resolve issues promptly
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's degree preferred
1-2+ years of experience in Canadian real estate and accounts payable
Basic understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Remote work experience and a dedicated home office/work space required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment
