[Remote] Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their finance and accounting operations, primarily focusing on Accounts Payable while also providing support for Accounts Receivable as the business scales.ResponsibilitiesProcess and code a high volume of vendor invoices in NetSuiteManage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries promptlyInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issuesMaintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentationReconcile Accounts Payable Aging reportsSupport purchase order backed invoice processing and three-way matchingAssist with month end AP close activitiesEnsure adherence to established accounting procedures and internal controlsGenerate and issue customer invoicesConduct collections activities and follow up on outstanding balancesCommunicate with customers regarding overdue accountsReconcile Accounts Receivable Aging ReportsResearch and resolve billing discrepanciesAssist with month end AR close activitiesSupport the continued growth of AR processes as transaction volume increasesSkillsHands on NetSuite experience with the ability to work independently from day oneMinimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experienceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines and priorities with minimal oversightProfessional, responsive, and dependable work styleManufacturing industry experienceFamiliarity with inventory related payables and purchase order workflowsExperience with three-way matching processesExperience with Ramp or similar spend management platformsExposure to Avalara or sales and use tax processesBenefitsIndependent Contractor (1099)Fully Remote20–25 hours per weekFlexible schedule with availability during standard U.S. business hours preferredOpportunity for increased hours and responsibilities as the business growsCompany OverviewYotta is a clean energy technology company developing modular solar-integrated battery storage for commercial buildings.
