[Remote] Accounting Manager, Intercompany

The intercompany accountant role offers a unique opportunity to work with multiple entities within the organization, focusing on technical accounting skills and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.ResponsibilitiesResponsibility of the Accounting and Governance Information system (intercompany) module within Oracle including managing access and governance over system setupsCollaborate with Tax and Treasury teams on various intercompany transactions, including capital funding, loan arrangements, IP transfers, etcDevelop systems and processes that reduce the risk of intercompany out-of-balance, provide process efficiencies, and standardize global processes for intercompany transactionsProvide guidance to regional accounting teams on how to best record, reconcile, and report on intercompany transactionsExecute the intercompany eliminations process during month-end close and investigate and resolve any issuesCollaborate with cross-functional team membersAssist with month-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationsSkills6+ years of experience in intercompany accounting, general ledger accounting, or external audit with a focus on multi-entity consolidation and US GAAP financial reportingExperience managing intercompany transactions, settlements, and reconciliations across multiple legal entitiesExperience preparing elimination entries and supporting consolidation processes in a complex, global organizationExperience with internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation and execution of SOX-relevant controls related to intercompany processesExperience partnering with cross-functional finance, tax, and treasury stakeholders to resolve intercompany issues and support period-end close activitiesDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)Experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance in a multinational organizationDemonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologiesCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent professional accounting certificationDemonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to redesign intercompany workflows and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, or control coverageExperience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or Tableau to support intercompany reconciliation and reportingExperience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle for intercompany transaction management and consolidationBenefitsHas_bonus=trueHas_equity=trueCompany OverviewMeta's mission is to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible.
