[Remote] Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany

As an Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany, you will support the Global GL Operations month-end close processes and oversee the global intercompany framework and general ledger functions, driving operational excellence and supporting the company's international growth.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close processes across global entities, ensuring timely, accurate general ledger reporting and consolidated financial statementsLead global intercompany operations including billing, cash settlements, transfer pricing execution, foreign exchange gain/loss analysis, and elimination entriesPartner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to operationalize new intercompany agreements, entity launches, and transfer pricing methodologies into scalable processesDrive the design, implementation, and documentation of SOX-compliant internal controls across GL operations and intercompany processesExecute strategic GL projects including M&A integration, new entity set-ups, and ERP enhancements in NetSuiteStrengthen team capability by mentoring and developing direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growthSkillsCPA with 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years managing direct reports, with public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 implementation and documentationManaged end-to-end month-end close processes across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated reportingLed multi-entity intercompany accounting processes such as eliminations, FX revaluation, or global consolidationsProficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools (Snowflake, Looker, or similar) and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), ideally in a fintech or crypto environmentUtilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency and qualityBenefitsEquity and bonus eligibilityMedical, dental, vision, 401(k)Company OverviewCoinbase is a crypto exchange and wallet platform that allows merchants and consumers to buy, sell, and store digital currencies.
