[Remote] Accounting Manager

They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager who will support the monthly close process, lead revenue and royalty accounting, and help maintain strong financial controls across multiple business units.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and cash activityAnalyze digital revenue reports from DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon, TikTok, etc.)Support royalty accounting and artist statement preparationAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as neededSupport external audits and tax compliance by preparing schedules and documentationInvestigate variances and unusual transactions across revenue streamPartner with Executive, Operations, Business Affairs, Publishing, and third party teams on financial reporting initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and process improvementsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5 - 10 years of public accounting or industry accounting experienceCPA licenseStrong understanding of GAAP and accrual accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis)Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesComfortable working in a start-up, remote environmentExperience with ERP systems, and ability to navigate new systems and softwareExposure to music, entertainment, media, or royalty accountingFamiliarity with large data exports and reconciliation of third-party reportingHistory with process automation and data integrity projectsCompany Overview It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in , with a workforce of 2-10 employees.
