[Remote] Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reports, manage the accounting team, and provide financial analysis to support decision-making across the organization.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for the division, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and analyze divisional financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, identifying key trends and variancesOversee the work of the divisional accounting staff, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and the accuracy of financial transactionsSupport budget and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and collaborating with division leaders to develop realistic and achievable financial plansProvide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by division management, focusing on key business metrics, profitability analysis, and operational performanceWork cross-functionally with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyMaintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and external audit requirementsAssist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to streamline accounting processes and ensure consistency across divisionsSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification requiredMinimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory roleExperience working in a high-growth, private equity-owned organizationStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to interpret and apply them in a corporate settingDemonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and the preparation of ad hoc financial reports for executive leadershipAdvanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build complex financial models, perform data analysis, and manipulate large datasetsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial information to non-financial stakeholdersIntellectually curious, proactive in learning about the business and understanding the needs of business partnersComfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving business needsCompany OverviewRenuity is a certified local home improvement providers throughout the U.S. It is a sub-organization of Titan Holdings.
