[Remote] Accounting & Financial Operations Lead

Plant Design I/O is seeking an Accounting & Financial Operations Lead to own the day-to-day financial operations of our growing engineering and software consulting business. This role is responsible for client billing, accounts receivable, expense management, accounting administration, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.ResponsibilitiesOwn the client billing process, including timesheet and expense validationPrepare and submit client invoices accurately and on timeManage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoicesReview employee expense reports and ensure proper documentationPerform bank and credit card reconciliations within QuickBooksCoordinate with ADP TotalSource and support payroll administrationServe as the primary liaison with the company's CPA and assist with monthly financial reporting and process improvementsSkills5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experienceStrong experience with billing, accounts receivable, and collectionsProficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelExperience performing bank and credit card reconciliationsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in engineering, consulting, staffing, or professional servicesExperience with time-and-expense billing environmentsExperience working with outsourced payroll providersExperience coordinating with external CPA firmsBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceCompany OverviewHelping owner/operators & EPC companies reduce project TIC by intelligent data capture, process improvements, training, and consulting.
