[Remote] Accounting Clerk

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Accounting Clerk will maintain financial records, process transactions, and assist the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities Assist with customer invoicing by attaching packing slips for proof of delivery-communicating with plant dispatch for signed packing slips Request Certificates of Insurance (COI) for jobs, as needed Resolve blocked billing invoices by researching issue and correcting items in SAP Run bi-weekly planned cost report for manufacturing cost visibility Assist in the month-end closing process Assist in data cleansing activities in SAP Assist in researching and resolving Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) issues Assist in researching and actioning items with receipts posted but not an invoice Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Skills High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Experience using a complex ERP system (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) Strong organizational and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, in-person and by telephone Attention to detail around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines SAP experience, preferred Prior experience in a manufacturing company a plus Benefits 5% Annual target bonus 401(k) plan / group retirement savings program Short-term and long-term disability benefits Life insurance Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion Company Overview CRH manufactures and distributes building materials and products for construction projects.
