[Remote] Account Manager (Wholesale)- West Coast

The Account Manager will act as a liaison between partners, sales teams, and operations, ensuring quality customer service and managing the loan process from submission to final disposition.ResponsibilitiesCommunicates with our Joint Venture partner, underwriters, funders, doc drawers, etc. as required to ensure all parties are aware of loan status and any outstanding requirements ensuring quality customer service experience and adherence to established guidelinesProvides status updates on loans as requestedFollows up as needed for outstanding conditions and to retrieve signed documentsResponsible for daily pipeline management to include, but not limited to, requesting lock extensions, condition follow up, vendor follow up and data integrity in LOS as updates occurResponds to internal and external customer inquiries on loan conditions and/or documentation requested for approval or fundingNegotiates and works to resolve problems with our partner as it relates to pricing, program changes and reworks to the loan requestProvides back up support as needed to review conditions received for accuracy and forward conditions to Underwriting for review in a timely mannerVerifies that our Joint Venture partner has received notification of loan approvals and status updatesOrders required verifications as outlined in policies & procedures such as 4506T, VOE, VOD and SS validationsCommunicates with management team on volume projections and status updatesContributes to process improvement suggestions to promote process efficiency and enhance broker experienceSkillsWorking knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA regulations and FNMA/FHLMC and investor underwriting guidelinesMaintain working knowledge of all loan programs to ensure loans conform with program requirements through the loan process and to able to answer questions as neededMinimum of 1 years proven and progressive mortgage lending experience, or equivalentBachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of three (1) + years' experience working in a similar fieldBachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of three (1) + years' experience working in a similar fieldBenefitsInclusive, diverse, and collaborative culture where people from all backgrounds can thrive.Work with other passionate, purposeful, and customer-centric people.Extensive internal growth and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement.Comprehensive benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision.Wellness program to support both mental and physical health.Generous paid time off for both exempt and non-exempt positions.Company OverviewloanDepot is an independent retail mortgage lender that provides residential loans, refinance loans, and personal loan products nationwide.
