The Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships while driving revenue growth across the Ti-Mill segment, supporting titanium products and related solutions within aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Ti-Mill business objectives, revenue targets, and market growth initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including purchasing, supply chain, operations, and executive leadership teamsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, adjacent markets, and underserved geographic regionsCollaborate with internal cross-functional teams including operations, quality, inside sales, planning, and supply chain to ensure alignment with customer requirements and expectationsDrive commercial growth across commodity titanium products while supporting opportunities for value-added services and differentiated solutionsPrepare and maintain sales forecasts, market intelligence, customer activity reports, and opportunity pipelinesProvide timely communication regarding customer developments, risks, opportunities, and corrective action plansConduct regular customer visits and maintain consistent communication through in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual platformsExpected travel is 30-50% depending on customer and business needsSupport contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term commercial agreementsMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer demand signals to support business planning and commercial strategyRepresent Howmet Aerospace in a professional manner while strengthening long-term customer partnershipsSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of sales, account management, or business development experience within manufacturing, metals, aerospace, or industrial marketsStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing strategic customer relationshipsProven negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced and changing market environmentsAbility to develop productive business relationships that support long-term growth and profitabilityComfortable interacting with senior leadership and decision-makers within large organizationsHighly organized with strong follow-through and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/business systemsAbility to travel as required to support customer and business needsExperience within the titanium, specialty metals, or commodity metals industry preferredCompany OverviewHowmet Aerospace produces jet engine components, aerospace fasteners, and forged wheels for aerospace and defense applications.
