The Account Manager will be responsible for outside sales, new business development, and account management to achieve revenue and profitability goals, with significant travel involved.ResponsibilitiesPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesIncreases sales revenue and profit dollars by identifying potential new accounts and soliciting orders through personal sales calls to explain services and assess potential customer needsFosters sales relationships with target accountsIncreases sales revenue and profit dollars of existing accounts through regular contact with customers and continued communication regarding additional available servicesPrepares, submits, and interprets periodic reports on activities, sales volume, and expensesAttends and participates in sales meetings and training programs; represents company at trade shows, conventions, Chambers of Commerce, and professional associationsStays abreast of major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends, as well as competitive conditionsEffectively adapts to CORE business and customer categorizationManages Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to Coordinates with customers to profile, identify service timeframes, and ensure quality and customer satisfaction with the current offering(s); works to resolve any customer concernsNegotiates pricing and contract requirements as neededCompletes annual sales revenue budget and identifies key customer initiativesManages and controls sales expenses and ensures the timely submission of business expensesMaintains a comprehensive understanding of the company’s service offerings for business lines offered to customersMaintains the ability to travel up to 80%, with some overnight stays requiredTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationSkillsBachelor's degree (required); focus within sales, business, marketing or science (preferred)3+ years of proven industry related sales experience (required)In lieu of degree, 7+ years of proven industry related sales experience (required)Maintains the ability to travel up to 80%, with some overnight stays requiredBenefitsArcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.Benefits include choice of medical, dental, and vision plansFlexible spending or health savings accountsEmployee and dependent life insuranceShort and long-term disability401(k) savings plan with 7% company matchTuition reimbursementCompany OverviewAt Arcwood, we deliver a full suite of comprehensive environmental services.
