CPS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager to cover the North American market in the plant-based oils, fiber, and protein space for Nutraceutical, Food, and Beverage companies. The role involves driving sales policies, building relationships with stakeholders, and providing technical insights to customers while maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the plant protein, fiber and oils customer network and industry trendsDrive sales policies and programs to achieve U.S. NA sales and profit goalsBuild and manage strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersMaintain a resilient, proactive mindset to meet customer expectationsProvide technical / application insights to customers in partnership with innovation and technical teamsDevelop deep knowledge of Global plant fiber and proteins company’s full product portfolioSupport the plant protein, fiber and oils commercial team with specialty sales expertise and insightsMaintain a strong opportunity pipeline and participate in trade associationsAlign innovations, applications, marketing, and BU teams with the plant protein, fiber and oils strategySkillsBachelor's degree in food science, business or related5+ years of sales, specifically for the plant protein, fiber and oils ingredients into nutraceutical, food and beverage companiesStrong competencies in Sales, Marketing, or Product DevelopmentDeep understanding of the selling process and the plant protein, fiber and oils industryExperience selling functional food ingredients and supporting technical marketingDemonstrated strength in negotiations, planning, and executionExperience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM toolsExcellent communication skills across matrixed teams; ability to travel up to 50%Direct experience selling plant protein, fiber and oils to manufacturers or major CPG customersProven success growing technical ingredient salesAbility to translate technical insights into compelling customer valueBenefitsBonusBenefits AvailableCompany OverviewCPS, inc., a national full-service professional staffing firm providing permanent placement in the areas of accounting, finance, and more.
