They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their rapidly expanding National Division, focusing on retaining and expanding revenue from existing clients while onboarding and developing new accounts.ResponsibilitiesPartner with sales on incoming RFPs and proposals, to ensure we are meeting client objectives - collaborating with various cross-company teams to develop the best advertising solutions as neededSuccessfully manage and support account base and new business as the day-to-day contact for accountsProvide a high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolution of potential issuesDevelop and revise media plans with existing accounts by analyzing historical data on customer spending, as well as considerations of client objectives, timing, product offerings, product performance and inventory availabilityIndependently manage all post-sale activity to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved and to prevent under-delivery – this includes booking, trafficking, delivery reporting, optimizations and assistance in resolution of billing discrepanciesProject management of internal creative builds and sponsorship/custom programs – working as a liaison between client/creative agency and internal teams towards successful executionEnsure effective communication with sales teams to understand and anticipate customer needs, and ensure that advertising solutions meet those needs while setting internal and external expectationsSupport programmatic sales team and serve as a resource for the National Sales and Account Management team, as it relates to our programmatic business and initiativesParticipate in project work as directed by supervisorEngage in ongoing development and growth: - Product value propositions - setting up complex programs for success - Analyzing data/metrics - Developing comprehensive performance reports - Upselling and driving incremental revenueSkillsExperience in Excel with strong analytical skills: must have a demonstrated track record of excellence in analytics, either via past work experience and / or successful completion of analytic courseworkDemonstrated organizational skills with a strong emphasis on quality assurance, process optimization, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and client needsA team player, willing and able to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic teamAbility to work fast paced, high-pressured, dynamic environment, with tight deadlinesProfessional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to think outside the box and take initiative to solve problems as they ariseExtensive working experience with online media sales and responding to RFPs in collaboration with othersProgrammatic: familiarity and experience working in DV360, AdX, Rubicon, Pubmatic, GAM, etcTroubleshooting and management of deal health, etcCollege education2-3 years working experience in digital media advertising2-3 years previous work experience working with sales personnelSkills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power)Company OverviewUSA TODAY Co., Inc.
